Iran Lawyers is a volunteer project. It is not a law firm and not a company. This page sets out what the site collects, what it publishes, and how to get your details changed or deleted.

The Add a Listing form asks for your full name, professional title, firm or practice name, email, telephone, country, city, office address, practice areas, bar or regulator, registration number, year admitted, languages, website, LinkedIn or profile link, whether you offer free or paid consultations and remote appointments, and a short bio. Some of these are optional.
We use it for three things: to check your registration against the bar's public register, to publish your listing, and to contact you about it, for example when it is due for renewal.
Nothing goes public until we approve it. Once a listing is approved, everything on the form except your email address appears on the Directory page and in the site's public data feed at /api/listings. That includes your telephone number, your office address if you gave one, and your registration number. The Directory page also carries part of it in a format search engines read.
Public means public. Anyone can read and copy it, and search engines and AI tools may index it. When we take a listing down it leaves this site, but we can't pull back copies that other people or services have already made.
Your email address is never published. Nor is any application we don't approve.
We receive your name, email, subject and message, and use them only to reply and to deal with what you asked. Messages are never published.
The site runs on Cloudflare. Applications and messages are stored in Cloudflare's storage service, Workers KV, and Cloudflare may process and store them outside your country, including in the United States. Only the site's administrator can see full applications and messages, through a password-protected page. We don't pass them to anyone else.
A listing runs for one year. Renewal is free, and we check your registration again each time. If a listing isn't renewed, we take it off the directory. Applications and messages stay in storage until we delete them, and we'll delete yours whenever you ask.
To correct a listing, take it down, or have an application or message deleted, write to us through the contact form. If you can, use the email address you applied with, so we can tell the request really comes from you. We may ask you to confirm before we act.
No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies. We don't sell or rent anyone's information.
Your choice of English or Persian is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers it. That setting stays on your device.
Cloudflare screens visits to block bots and abuse, and may set a cookie it needs for that. It also keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running. The fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which see your IP address.
The directory is information. A listing is not a recommendation, we don't rate lawyers, and nothing on this site is legal advice. Before you hire anyone, make your own checks.
